What to Expect

A consultation with a Naturopathic Physician to go over your health history and concerns is a first step. It is important that we understand your goals, know if you have allergies and are on medications and/or supplements. This information allows us to carefully consider appropriate formulations, ensure your safety and answer any questions your may have. It may be necessary to do baseline blood testing prior to doing IV therapies.

Preparing for your Visit

Our IV treatment room is a shared space with comfortable lounge chairs. It is generally quiet, with others reading, listening to music or on their ipads. If you require privacy please let us know in advance and we can accommodate.

We have tea and water but we encourage you to bring a snack. The day of your treatment we ask that you eat a protein based meal or large snack about an hour before arriving and that you are well hydrated. Do not exercise heavily within 2 hours of your treatment.

Intravenous therapy is not painful. You will feel a small prick of the needle at insertion and then it’s time to relax. There is bell right beside you if you need the attention of your doctor at any time throughout your treatment.
